TAG Heuer's €3,400 Meridiist
Surely those rumored shots of TAG Heuer's luxurious first handset from last week are still stuck in your head, right? Go on and purge those puppies right on out, as we've got the very first press shots (more in the read link) of the now-official Meridiist to focus our attention on. Reportedly, the handset was indeed developed in partnership with Modelabs, and beyond the all-metal casing, you can also expect a sapphire crystal screen, 2-megapixel camera, multimedia player, 1.9-inch QVGA display, Bluetooth and a battery good for 7-hours of yappin' aimlessly about how pricey your new mobile is. Speaking of which, did we mention this prized piece will run you between €3,400 ($5,420) and €3,900 ($6,216), depending on customizations, when it sashays onto the scene in Q2? Yeah, ouch.
Swarovski Dior Phone Inlaid with 640 Crystals
French fashion-house Christian Dior has teamed up with Swiss-jeweler Swarovski to create a crystal-studded version of its new "My Dior" luxury phone.
But Dior's new phone is priced higher than rivals, closer to Nokia's premium line Vertu, which also starts in the $7,900 range. Dolce & Gabbana, Prada and Giorgio Armani all have phones out that cost around $950.
Taking nearly three years to design, the handset is made by a small French manufacturer ModeLabs. My Dior starts at $5,500 or $7,900 and up while the Swarovski-studded version will be sold for $26,000.

Vertu, the world’s most famous brand that makes luxury cellular phone, which is also owned by cellular phone giant, Nokia, has released the all new Vertu Constellation series luxury cellular phone. The Swiss exclusive cell phone company GoldVish has created a one of a kind phone which is completley encrusted in diamonds. The phone is made of white gold with 120 carats of VVS-1 grade diamonds. The phone was designed by the Swiss watch designer Emmanuel Gueit. The company also makes many other unique phones but none as unique as this one. The back of the phone features alligator skin.
The “Le Million De La Nuit” cellular phone that is manufactured by GoldVish comes in 15 different incarnations, encrusted with diamonds or not depending on your preference, but always made with at least 140 grams of solid gold. It definitely looks more like a piece of jewelry than a working cellular phone.
